Smith Electric Vehicles, owned by the Tanfield Group, it is believed that active talks with Hong Kong to provide municipalities with electric buses. It is known that Hong Kong is actively electric vehicles for city fleet.
Hong Kong suffers from problems of air purity, so there is hope that the mini-buses from Smith Electric Vehicles (if the agreement passes), will contribute to improving air quality in the city. This latter agreement is after a series of previous transactions between the Smith Electric Vehicles and the Government of Hong Kong, where the city bought the 15 Smith, all electric vehicles in the past 18 months.
Smith Electric Vehicles has recently merged with its U.S. counterpart on 1 January in a £ 9.74m deal.
Smith Electric Vehicles division of American colleague bought a Smith electric vehicle in the U.S., an investment bank, in which the company held 49 shares a percentage of the northeast. Smith Electric Vehicles USA named Winston Hill Capital as investment bank led last year. Cory Singman and Bruce Shalett are the investment bankers with Winston Capital Hill, Smith Electric Vehicles USA. The agreement is still permitted to spend the same Tanfield percent in the new expansion.
